DVD/Blu-Ray Sales: 'Unstoppable' leaves the station slowly, 'Toy Story 3' crosses 10M

Unstoppable wasn't exactly a runaway train in its first weekend on the home market, but it still sold enough copies to win both the DVD and Blu-Ray sales charts. On DVD, Unstoppable moved 796,000 copies for a first-week take of $12.7 million. In second and third, Best Picture nominees Toy Story 3 and Inception shot up 468% and 394%, respectively. Toy Story 3 sold 597,000 units for an additional $5.6M, crossing the 10M mark in the process—a rare feat these days. Inception's 368,000 copies sold lifted its total to 4.4M units.
